About Me
I am a multimedia communications professional based in Washington, D.C. specializing in international affairs, intercultural communication, soft power, sustainability, women's and gender issues, indigenous rights, and historical preservation.
I graduated with my Master of Arts in Global Media with concentrations in multimedia and public diplomacy from American University. During my time as a graduate student I completed a research trip to study effects of colonization and climate change in Ecuador, during which I lived with two indigenous families and visited the Galapagos Islands. I also participated in a Chinese government-sponsored cultural exchange program to learn about perceptions of the media in China from local journalists and foreign corespondents.
